The Avery Bradley Skills Academy provides a platform for young aspiring athletes to engage in healthy exercise while pursuing their athletic goals through basketball. Campers also receive personal mentorship from Avery, his colleagues, and his NBA peers, who will be present to serve as Academy coaches and guest speakers.
From Tacoma, Washington, was one of the most highly touted basketball players in the country. From his grade school days at Findlay Prep as one of the Nation’s top recruits to his 1- year stop at the University of Texas, one thing has remained constant, “I will always focus on working hard, bringing energy and competing at a very high level, doing anything I can to help my team win”.
In his 7th season with the Detroit Pistons, Avery is one of the NBA’s best defenders and truly welcomes the challenge of competing against the best guards in the league every night. Avery’s work ethic and consistent energy has made the 26 year old a key piece of the Pistons organization. With a passion to give back through the game that has given so much to him, Avery has created the Bradley Sports Group, an organization focused on the enhancement of youth through education and basketball skills camps. The Bradley Sports Group will serve as a source for youth wellness, community engagement and moral development.
Tim has served as a Director with Bradley Sports Group for the past 5 years. In this capacity, his duties include the administrating, coordination and implementation of the Avery Bradley Skills Academy. Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the game of basketball he brings experience in being able to analyze each child's strengths and weakness enabling him to plan training in accordance with their INDIVIDUAL skill level. He works to enhance individual and team skills while focusing on development, safety and sportsmanship. He possess sound character, strong morals, values and personal ethics which carryover into coaching.
In addition, he has over 4 years experience with the Boys and Girls Club. His ultimate goal is to help each child/player understand and excel at the game of basketball in an environment where they will enjoy themselves in the process.
Coaching staff member at the Bradley Sports Group since 2010. Darnell is a Curtis High School graduate with the class of 2009. He attended Tacoma Community College where he played basketball for two years.
Williams then went on to the University of Hawaii Hilo where he received his bachelors degree in communications. While in attendance, he continued basketball with the Hilo Vulcans and achieved the Second Team All Conference award.
During his last year at the University of Hawaii he started a non- profit incorporation created to provide activities and opportunities for young athletes, regardless of race, religion or economic status in the inner city communities.
Justin was a four year starter and three year captain for the University of Texas Longhorn basketball team. He is in the top ten all time in games played/started as well as assist/turnover ratio at UT. Justin is passionate about the game of basketball and is dedicated to giving back his experiences playing at a high level. He has worked with boy and girls of all ages and always brings a passion to the gym. One of his main focuses is to get kids to see that anything is possible and one of the best ways to convey that is through the game of basketball
Abdul went to Bellarmine Prep Hs: 2 time all area MVP, 2 time All state, 2009 4A player of the year, 2008 Gatorade player of the year, McDonalds All American, Jordan Brand All American.

- Played Professional in Italy with Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna (2014-2016)
- Now currently playing in Latvia for VEF Riga of the VTB league. (2016-2017)
Lavelt joined the Avery Bradley Sports Group staff in 2010.
While working with the Bradley Sports Group organization, Page spent the 2015-16 season managing Southern Methodist University men’s basketball team. He oversaw player’s responsibilities, travel details and mentored all team members. With a 25-5 record, the team achieved one of their best records in history. He is currently still in the same role with the SMU men's basketball team for the 2016-17 season as well. He is expected to graduate with a B.S in applied physiology and sport management in December of 2017.
